Wiggins is expected to be a prolific tester at the upcoming NFL combine, so his strengths will be length and speed. With seven tackles, an interception, a deflected pass, and a forced fumble against North Carolina on November 18, he concluded the season as well as any cornerback in the nation.

He is regarded as Clemson’s fastest player and was named to the first team of the ACC after his 2023 campaign.

Throughout his time at Clemson, Wiggins has been a productive player. In 2022, he recorded 14 pass deflections, and in 2023, he had eight breakups and two interceptions. Scouts are aware of his aptitude for obtaining passes and his natural instincts.

In each of the previous two years, he has returned an interception for a touchdown; in 2022, he caught Drake Maye in the ACC championship game and went on to return a record-setting 98 yards for a touchdown. (Two of Maye’s 16 career interceptions have come from Wiggins.)

“I’m a cornerback who is going to lock down the best receiver and bring ball skills,” he stated. “They’re going to get a hard worker, someone they can depend on and someone who can get the job done and love their teammates.”

Wiggins expressed gratitude for his time at Clemson and acknowledged the assistance of the entire staff in his growth, including head coach Dabo Swinney, head of football administration Woody McCorvey, and cornerbacks coach Mike Reed.
