Good news for Milwaukee Brewers:he is back…

The Milwaukee Brewers may welcome back a quick contributor in the playoffs.
The Milwaukee Brewers are on the verge of regaining a valuable outfield player who was previously believed to be out for the season as they aim to win the National League Central this year.

On Friday, the Milwaukee Brewers learned good news about outfielder Garrett Mitchell’s injury.

The possibility of Mitchell returning to the ‘Crew at the end of the Triple-A season could be extremely exciting. Should that occur, he would have a chance to play in a few games before the major league season ends, and he might then play a role for the Brewers in the postseason.

After suffering a shoulder injury on April 18, he has not been able to play.

The 25-year-old native of California is having success.259 through 58 at-bats this season. Along with six RBI and three home runs, he has also stolen a base.

Prior to the 2022 campaign, Mitchell held the fourth-best prospect ranking in the Brewers system. His quickness and defensive prowess, which could make him a useful chess piece in the future, were highlighted by MLB.com.

The Brewers are 4.5 games ahead of the National League Central going into play on Friday, with a record of 82-64 overall.

The Milwaukee Brewers will be their guests on Friday starting at 8:10 p.m. ET.
