Good news:Los Angeles Rams announce superstar return..

Star running back Sony Michel may be signed by the Los Angeles Rams after he retires.

Sony Michel, a two-time Super Bowl winner, has declared his retirement from the NFL.

Compared to other players, Michel’s NFL career was very brief, but he did win more games during that time. After just five seasons, the 28-year-old has decided to end his career in the league.

After playing college football for Georgia for four years, the running back was selected by the New England Patriots with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. In his first season in the league, he would go on to win his first Super Bowl ring.

After spending three happy years in New England, Michel moved to the West Coast in 2021 to accept a contract with the Los Angeles Rams. The running back’s first season with the team ended in a Super Bowl ring, much like it did at Foxboro.

Michel rejoined the Rams during the off-season after departing for the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022. However, the running back announced his retirement from the NFL a few days after training camp began.

Rams head coach Sean McVay was all praise for the running back even if he was displeased with the decision.

“What a fantastic player. “This guy has had an incredible career,” McVay said to ESPN.

He went on, “It’s unfortunate. I adore Sony and have nothing but admiration and respect for the competitor he is, even though it feels like his body is speaking to him.”

That includes two well-known athletes, Leonard Fournette and Ezekiel Elliott. Since departing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the end of the previous season, Fournette has been free agency; Elliott, on the other hand, left the Dallas Cowboys in March.

The news of Michel’s retirement did not reach Rams standout Aaron Donald until he addressed the media following a practice. The defensive tackle claims that the group is committed to returning to the level that won them the Super Bowl in 2022, albeit still coming off a 5-12 campaign.
