“I’m Back”: Ohio State defensive tackle Ty Hamilton confirms his return for the 2024 campaign Ty Hamilton, like many other returning Buckeyes, gave the excuse that he had “some unfinished business” when he decided to return to Ohio State.

In the middle of a rush of trades and draft announcements, the Ohio State Buckeyes have managed to hold onto a significant portion of its defense.

Ty Hamilton, a defensive tackle for the Buckeyes, declared he would forego the 2024 NFL Draft in order to rejoin the Scarlet and Gray for the upcoming campaign.

Before leaving Columbus, Hamilton mentioned that there was still “unfinished business” that needed to be settled in a statement he shared on social media. For many of Ohio State’s returning players, including defensive end Jack Sawyer, linebacker Cody Simon, and safety Lathan Ransom, it has been imperative to finish strong.

“First of all, I would like to thank God for the opportunity and blessing it is to be here at The Ohio State,” Hamilton stated. “I would like to express my gratitude to my coaches and family for their support during this journey, but I believe that the brotherhood still has some unresolved issues.
