The men were found dead after going to a friend’s residence to watch the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers.

The mystery surrounding the deaths of three Kansas City Chiefs fans—Ricky Johnson, Clayton McGeeney, and David Harrington—may soon have resolutions.

The toxicology results for the three men found dead on their buddy Jordan Willis’ home on January 9 has been given to the Kansas City Police Department, as reported by FOX 4 Kansas City. The toxicological test, according to the publication, shows that the subject had “several” substances in their bloodstream.

TMZ added, citing sources, that the test findings showed the men’s corpses contained narcotics. The Kansas City Police Department and the office of the medical examiner have been contacted by PEOPLE seeking comments.

On Saturday, Alayna Gonzalez of the Kansas City Police Department informed PEOPLE that “this still remains a death investigation and nothing more.”

“No one is in police custody, and there is still no evidence or indication of foul play,” she declared.

The men had gone to Willis’ residence on January 7th to see the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers. A fifth friend who was at the house with the others watched Jeopardy! on TV around midnight.

McGeeney’s fiancé found Harrington, McGeeney, and Johnson dead two days later. According to the police department, the bodies were found in the rear of the house, and there were “no obvious signs of foul play observed at or near the crime scene.”

John Picerno, Willis’s attorney, stated in a statement to PEOPLE that his client “is unaware of how his friends died” and that he is “anxiously awaiting the results of the autopsy and toxicology report.”

Johnson’s brother Jonathan Price had told PEOPLE that he thought “something had to have been in their system” besides alcohol.

“If I were to hypothesize, there has to be a problem with the three men’s systems for them to pass away in that manner. Regarding the topic of whether it was taken on purpose, I wouldn’t answer. But, he said PEOPLE, something was taken since, given the circumstances, three adult males do not freeze to death when there is simply alcohol present.
