Atlanta Falcons injury report:He will not play again..
Four Falcons players are out of the divisional matchup with the Buccaneers due to injuries.
Flory Branch, Georgia: The following players will not play in the Falcons’ crucial divisional game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday: defensive linemen David Onyemata (ankle), LaCale London (knee), right tackle Kaleb McGary (knee), and inside linebacker Nate Landman (knee).
Throughout the entire week, Landman, McGary, and Onyemata were absent from practice. During the Falcons’ Week 13 game at MetLife Stadium last Sunday, all three players were injured. Following the announcement earlier in the week that the defensive end would be returning from injured reserve, London was listed as a full participant for every practice.
Five Falcons players were listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game in the meantime.
Mike Hughes (hand), Jeff Okudah (ankle), and A.J. Terrell (concussion) are the three doubtful cornerbacks. After practicing as a limited participant earlier in the week while wearing a yellow non-contact jersey, Terrell was a full participant on Friday. After leaving Sunday’s game with a concussion, he has been following the league’s concussion protocol. Arthur Smith stated that the Falcons will decide on Terrell on Saturday after consulting with medical experts.
On Friday, Okudah made a limited return to practice. Due to an injury, Hughes missed the Falcons’ most recent game, but he was fully engaged the entire week.
Additionally doubtful were center Drew Dalman (ankle) and wide receiver Mack Hollins (ankle). Due to his injury, Hollins has missed Atlanta’s last three games; however, he has been fully participating in practice this week. Thursday and Friday were restricted for Dalman.
