‘It’s going to be a great deal for us:Good for New York Giants

Head coach Brian Daboll has the New York Giants “in good hands,” and Daniel Jones’s toughness is respected.
In addition, Jason Bell praised quarterback Daniel Jones of the New York Giants for his leadership. Jones had to recover from an ankle injury to prepare for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers at Tottenham.

According to Jason Bell, the New York Giants have a winning start to their season under first-year head coach Brian Daboll and have found their identity as they travel to London.

After four years as the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills, Daboll took over as head coach this past offseason, and he comes into Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers with a 3-1 record.

The former Nick Saban and Bill Belichick protégé came into a team that desperately needed guidance after five straight losing seasons for the organization. The initial indications have been positive.

After spending time with the Giants in the past, Bell said, “I love their culture right now and Brian Daboll has brought that culture.” “They have a lot of ownership, but the coach is the leader, and it’s crucial that he does and brings the ability for these players to be authentic both on and off the field.

“They are distinct individuals. It was unclear to many what this team’s identity would be, but now they know.

“Saquon Barkley is sprinting like a man on a mission, and since I support the New York Giants, I naturally want them to win this game.

“With Brian Daboll they’re in good hands because of him and his creativity as an offensive play-caller, but also a leader.”

Saquon Barkley, who leads the league in rushing yards and seems to have rediscovered the one-step explosiveness of his rookie year, and Big Blue’s unique, blitz-heavy defense have been the cornerstones of the team’s successful start to the season.

QB Daniel Jones is in his contract year, but his receiving core has already been hurt. Wan’Dale Robinson, a rookie, and 2021 marquee free agent addition Kenny Golladay are all out of Sunday’s game. Kadarius Toney is in his second year. In addition to leading the Giants in receiving yards (155), Richie James is tied with Barkley for the team lead in catches (15). Jones has 193 rushing yards for two touchdowns on 31 carries.

As rookie right tackle Evan Neal gets used to life in the NFL, the Giants offensive line has allowed 14 sacks so far this season. Despite this, left tackle Andrew Thomas is currently PFF’s highest-graded player in the entire NFL.

“It’s been a struggle, the protection has been a little tough for him and with the receivers it’s been a struggle but he can create with his legs,” Bell said.

“One thing I really like about Daniel Jones is that, even though it’s challenging to be the quarterback in New York, he just goes out there and tries to lead this team in whatever way he can.

“I think if he can still move around and be effective with his legs running the ball, with Saquon Barkley, that’s a two-headed monster and hopefully they can gain enough yards to get a win.”

One of the main selling points for Daboll when he first arrived in East Rutherford was his part in helping Bills quarterback Josh Allen turn his life around. It is hoped that Daboll can do the same for Jones in what could be a make-or-break season for the former first-round pick.

Despite lacking reliable receiver options, the Giants playcaller is enjoying life under Daboll as he is 67 of 105 (63.8%) passing for 631 yards and three touchdowns to two interceptions so far this season.

“He’s been great for me, having an offensive-minded head coach has been fun as a quarterback and learning the game from his perspective,” Jones said about Daboll on Friday.

“He has a long history in the game, having held multiple positions as an offensive coordinator and enjoying great success.

“I’ve learned a great deal from him, and he has a wealth of experience to share. His system, in my opinion, works well for us as a team because it offers us many options, lets us move players around, put them in different positions, and lets them do what they do best.”

Jones, who sprained his left ankle during the Chicago Bears game last weekend, is expected to start for Tottenham. It appears that by doing this, he has gained the respect of his teammates.

“It doesn’t surprise me that he’s a tough dude,” defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence remarked. Knowing that we are all a little bit hurt and nicked up, but that we are all fighting for each other and a win, makes us want to play for each other more.

The fact that your brother is fighting for you despite his wounds gives you a small boost. Simply always have his back, and the best way to do that is to perform well on the field.”

When a quarterback, like Jones this week, wants to play through discomfort, Barkley continued, it “speaks volumes” for the team.

The Packers will travel to London for the first time in NFL history on Sunday, making history as the 32nd and last NFL team to complete a transatlantic business trip.

Given the franchise’s illustrious past, one of the biggest NFL team fanbases in the UK will be expecting them.

Bell affirmed, “One of the original franchises, yes.” “The championship trophy, the Lombardi Trophy, bears the name of their coach. Once a historic franchise, its fans travel the world and it is the only team that they own.

“They’ve always had excellent quarterbacks; their current quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, is a two-time MVP winner, and people are thrilled that they’re finally coming over here.
