Minnesota Vikings coach has reveal horrible news about key player….

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network remembers Jerome Simpson, the former wide receiver for the Vikings, calling him a “douchebag.”
Leslie Frazier, the former head coach of the Vikings, forced the player to apologize in front of Pelissero.

During his Friday visit on KFAN FM 100.3’s Power Trip Morning Show, Minnesotan reporter Tom Pelissero—who has emerged as one of NFL Network’s top reporters—told the tale of how, nearly ten years ago, former Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson called him a naughty word.

In response to the question of whether he had ever been in a “really bad situation with a coach or a player,” Pelissero mentioned the 2014 incident in which Simpson had become irate with him prior to the Vikings’ playoff matchup with the Packers.

There was the Jerome Simpson one that Vikings supporters are probably familiar with. Pelissero started, “I don’t think we can say that certain word that he called me on the radio.

Pelissero declared, “Was not the most productive time of his career,” before making a joke: “One would argue it was when he had 50 pounds of marijuana mailed to his house.” That was quite fruitful.

Charges state that 2.5 pounds of marijuana were mailed to Simpson’s Kentucky home in 2011 while he was a player for the Bengals. Along with “packaging materials, scales, and smoking devices,” the authorities also found six more pounds of marijuana in his home, according to ESPN.

Pelissero stated that he learned that Simpson had called him a “douchebag” on camera in the locker room. “I had been writing very honestly about how the receiver group was struggling and he decided to take it out on me after the Week 17 Vikings-Packers game where Christian Ponder played the second half with a messed up elbow,” Pelissero said.

“Then after practice the next day, he comes up and goes, “Douchebag. “In front of everyone,” Pelissero went on. “I received an apology call from Leslie Frazier that afternoon. This is the week of the playoffs. The following day, Jerome has him over and forces him to apologize to me. Leslie is among the most amazing people in history. After that, they played at Lambeau Field with Joe Webb before being killed there.”

NFL Winners and Losers: Kevin O’Connell of the Vikings may be a coaching legend

Although statistics are a useful tool, they cannot explain everything. similar to how a great coach can influence everything.

The biggest regression candidate we’ve ever seen was the Minnesota Vikings. Despite having the underlying numbers of a team that ought to have been below.500, they finished 13-4 the previous season. They essentially prevailed in every close game, which is unsustainable.

However, it wasn’t entirely coincidental. Kevin O’Connell, the head coach of the Vikings, may soon prove to be valuable in each game.

Many believed the Vikings should trade Kirk Cousins after they lost Justin Jefferson. The Vikings appeared to be done when they lost Cousins. Rather, a team with a quarterback who was traded by the NFL’s worst team, the Arizona Cardinals, two weeks ago is in the running for the NFC playoffs, despite having a severely underdeveloped roster.

Though it can be strange at times, O’Connell should win Coach of the Year.

In a 27-19 victory, Joshua Dobbs had a standout performance against the New Orleans Saints. Dobbs was 18 of 22 for 220 yards in the first half. That was without K.J. Osborn, who was held out following a concussion last week, and Jefferson, who should soon return from a hamstring injury.

After Jameis Winston took over for an injured Derek Carr in the second half, New Orleans mounted a comeback and made the game interesting, but the Vikings made the necessary adjustments to hang on.

There are more elite players on the Saints’ roster. That much is beyond dispute. However, the coach of the Vikings was far superior.

With a record of 6-4, the Vikings are well-positioned to secure the NFC’s final wild-card spot. That’s incredible considering the Vikings had a 1-4 start and lost their two best players to injuries.

Dobbs was forced to play last week just a few days after the Vikings made a smart trade to acquire him. After calling them into the huddle, O’Connell was using his headset to explain plays to Dobbs. The Vikings defeated the Atlanta Falcons on the road.Dobbs deserves praise for his ability to process everything, but that’s also the precise definition of effective coaching. It was also impressive to watch Dobbs operate a full offense on Sunday, less than two weeks after the Vikings acquired him through a trade.

As a rookie head coach, O’Connell led the Vikings to 13 victories, but his success was largely disregarded because everyone was praising their good fortune. The decision that Brian Daboll, with his nine victories with the New York Giants, was awarded NFL Coach of the Year is not looking good at all.

That could be alright. This season, O’Connell was able to dispel any doubt regarding that honor.

The remaining winners and losers from Week 10 of the NFL season are as follows:

Anyone on the Dallas Cowboys: It has to be enjoyable to watch games like the one the team played on Sunday. It seemed like everyone who had a star on their helmet made a big play.

Against the New York Giants, who in the last two months of the season will resemble a junior varsity squad, it’s simple. The Cowboys crushed the Giants, winning 49–17. It was essentially a 2023 Giants hat trick as New York allowed Dak Prescott to account for five touchdowns, receiver Damien Slayton got into a heated argument with the team on the sideline, and Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito had less than fifty yards passing before a meaningless final drive. In the end, the Cowboys gained 640 yards while giving up just 172.

Kevin O'Connell's brand of leadership has Vikings rolling

Dallas didn’t really need to exert much effort on Sunday, and everyone could return to their locker rooms with a sense of satisfaction. This season, every opponent facing the Giants will feel the same way.

Geno Smith and DK Metcalf: It wasn’t a pretty game, but the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Washington Commanders 29–26. In the end, I am mostly grateful to Smith and Metcalf.

In the closing minute, the Commanders tied the game, and Smith found Metcalf on two crucial pass plays. As time ran out, he found Metcalf for points 17 and 27, respectively, to set up Jason Myers’ field goal. Metcalf gained 98 yards out of Smith’s 369 total.

Seahawks record: 6-3. They won by a narrow margin, but they won’t be picky. Though they’ll need to play better if they want a chance to defeat the 49ers for the division, they’re still tied for first place in the NFC West.
