Good news for Missouri Tigers:he is back….

The big game at Mizzou is back after a nine-year absence.

The Missouri Tigers deserve to be taken seriously now.

To be honest, most of you who are reading this were probably already. Individuals across the nation who haven’t started ought to.

First things first: South Carolina isn’t that great. With the worst pass defense in the nation and a non-working offensive line, the Gamecocks are currently 2-5. So what, I reply to that?

When a strong team plays a weak team, do you know what happens? The superior team controls the game and renders the inferior team unrecognizable. That was done by Missouri. Before Saturday, South Carolina had lost by scores of 14 to North Carolina, 10 to Georgia, 21 to Tennessee, and 2 to Florida. After taking a 24-0 lead, Missouri was penalized for roughing the passer on third and long, which allowed the Gamecocks to score a field goal with 31 seconds remaining in the first half. By then, the Tigers had won their previous five football quarters, outscoring Kentucky and Carolina 62-7.

Brady Cook, the quarterback, said that the game was decided by his quick start. “We are happy with how we started and how we ended.”

At best, the second half was unremarkable. It took Missouri three drives in the third quarter to record its first down. The Tigers missed a few passes. It could have been more engaging with a stronger squad. South Carolina was unable to. In the last two quarters, the Tigers outscored the Gamecocks 10-9, winning 34-12 and extending their two-week lead to 72-33.

In the words of LSU coach Brian Kelly, there are instances when it’s necessary to travel to Columbia, Missouri, play poorly, and still win. Furthermore, strong teams don’t always need to play all four quarters to win.

“Winning teams find ways to win,” stated Eli Drinkwitz. “We don’t have a single spouse.”

Without a doubt, Missouri is a strong team. It might be superior. The Tigers declared on Saturday that they haven’t played at their best yet. However, what they’ve provided us with is quite decent.

This team has been the subject of a growing sentiment. Faurot Field is 1.3 miles away from my residence, and the media parking garage is slightly farther away. If I hit the stop lights, my commute takes about four minutes, at least before the last couple of weeks. On Saturday, it took roughly five times as long.
