Anouncement:Alabama Crimson Tide key player is leaving for….

If important Alabama Football players return, a championship could be assured.
There are rumours circulating Tuscaloosa that some top Alabama football juniors might be returning for their senior seasons due to unresolved business.

The Alabama football team appears to feel disrespected ever since they lost to Auburn and were removed from the top ten by the College Football Playoff Committee. The reason for the drop was a lack of good victories, even though they lost two dog fights—one against the nation’s best team. It’s difficult to accept, but Alabama Football has dropped its last three games against strong teams.

True, “Bama fatigue” exists. The complaints about Alabama’s expansion have subsided now that it is not in the playoffs. After being completely excluded from the lists for the Biletnikoff, Thorpe, and Maxwell awards, Devonta Smith, Jerry Jeudy, Xavier McKinney, and Tua Tagovailoa were all left off of the national awards list for 2019.

Tua initiated the conversation about Juniors potentially making a comeback. It appeared inevitable that he would head to the NFL after suffering a hip injury, pocketing the millions he would have earned as a top draft pick. Tua started talking to the media about the possibility of coming back after it became unclear whether his injury would keep him out of the game until late in the first round or perhaps not at all.

A recent Sports Illustrated article claims that a number of Juniors are considering following Tua’s example and making a comeback. Kirk Herbstreit mentioned a “players only” meeting that Tua called for all draft-eligible juniors and said that it’s not yet a done deal to expect all of the eligible juniors to depart on the CFP ranking show on Sunday.

The Alabama football team may see Tua, Henry Ruggs III, Devonta Smith, Xavier McKinney, Dylan Moses, Alex Leatherwood, and Joshua McMillion (whose injury would grant him an additional year of eligibility according to the NCAA) for one more season if the rumors prove to be accurate and any player who is currently undecided chooses to stay.

If all of these guys stay healthy throughout the season, their return would essentially guarantee a 2020 championship. Tua’s skill is evident, and nothing would alter that for the upcoming season. Although it appears that he is more prone to injuries than most, another setback would return him to his current situation. The millions of dollars he might make back after making his way back would be the prize.

It seems unfair to give Tua another season with arguably the nation’s best wide receiver core. Even if Smith and Ruggs both return, the loss of former Biletnikoff Award winner Jerry Jeudy won’t cause the receiver core to regress. Throughout the season, Smith and Waddle continued to develop, and Ruggs’ speed is unmatched. To occupy the fourth man position, Metchie ought to step up.

This season, the defense was undoubtedly the Tide’s undoing. Penalties made it difficult for them to leave the field on third down. Throughout the season, Saban made reference to returning to the “Alabama standard.” A complete game changer would be Moses and McKinney’s return for the upcoming season. It wouldn’t be hyperbole to suggest that losing Moses ahead of schedule

As a sophomore, Moses was a finalist for the Butkus Award given to the best linebacker in the country. Moses had extraordinary talent and was well-versed in Nick Saban’s defense. With 86 tackles, he led the team in his final campaign. His authoritative voice was the only thing lacking. He never assumed the role of the “coordinator on the field,” which so many linebackers before him had when they were younger and playing alongside Mack Wilson.

Moses has to demonstrate this to NFL scouts, and in order to obtain that leadership experience, he may come back for his senior year. With McKinney, perhaps the best safety in the nation, behind Moses at safety and Moses at linebacker, the Alabama Football defense would surely return to its heyday.

All of these players’ potential returns would be crucial to the Tide’s ability to maintain their dynasty. The skill and background of these players would conceal any shortcomings at other positions on the field, in the same way that Quinnen Williams covered up many issues with the Alabama defense the previous campaign.

In 2020, will the Tide feel vindicated and need to prove themselves? Time will tell if this is all too good to be true. I will continue to dream for the time being that next season could feature the best team Saban has ever had.
