Announcement:Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is leaving…

Draymond Green is back in the Warriors lineup following a 12-game suspension.
Following reports that Green appeared to hit a Phoenix Suns player in the face during a game, the NBA suspended Green for “indefinite” time last month.

Following a 12-game “indefinite” suspension, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is once again eligible to play in NBA games.

The announcement was made on Saturday by Joe Dumars, the executive vice president of the NBA overseeing basketball operations.

“During the period of his suspension, which began on Dec. 14 and resulted in him missing 12 games, Green completed steps that demonstrated his commitment to conforming his conduct to standards expected of NBA players,” the NBA stated in a statement.

In the statement, it was stated that Green has met with representatives of the National Basketball Players Association, the Warriors, and the NBA, “which will continue throughout the season,” in addition to counselors.

When Green appeared to hit Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkić in the face during a game on December 12, the NBA suspended him for a “indefinite” period of time.

The NBA stated that Green would need to fulfill “certain league and team conditions before he returns to play” when the suspension was first made public.

Green had served previous NBA suspensions.

He received a five-game suspension in November for headlocking Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
