Carson Beck, the QB for Georgia, is returning for his senior year.Quarterback Carson Beck of Georgia, who led the No. 6 Bulldogs to a 12-1 record in his first season as a starter, made the announcement on Monday that he will be back in 2024 for his senior year.After taking over at quarterback for the Bulldogs last season, Beck was one of the most effective passers in the FBS. Bennett had led the team to back-to-back CFP National Championships in 2021 and 2022. Beck gained 3,738 yards and 22 touchdowns on 72.4% of his passes, with six interceptions.

Following the announcement of his transfer to Kentucky by his backup, former four-star recruit Brock Vandagriff, comes Beck’s decision. Gunner Stockton, a redshirt freshman who attempted nine passes this season, is anticipated to return in 2024 as well.

Georgia’s Buford High School’s five-star recruit Dylan Raiola made a commitment to the Bulldogs in May, but he told ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Monday that he is instead going to Nebraska, where he spent the past weekend. In the 2024 ESPN 300, Raiola is ranked as the top pocket passer.

Beck wrote on Georgia football’s X account, “My friends and family have helped put me in a situation to have options for my future.” “The NFL, though, can wait another year. I’m coming back to finish my senior year at UGA. To end this season in style, Miami needs everyone’s support!”

The No. 7 pocket passer in the ESPN 300, Ryan Puglisi of Avon, Connecticut, has joined the team and will take part in bowl practices.
