Cincinnati Bengals coach reveal terrible news about a key player.

Dave Lapham reports that although Bengals head coach Zach Taylor thought about switching things up before Callahan was hired, he decided against it. Taylor is slated to call plays again in 2024.

On 700 WLW, Lapham said to Lance McAlister, “I heard that Zac Taylor was considering giving up the play calling role to Brian Callahan next season.””That changed when Brian Callahan moved on.”

Next season, Callahan will call plays for the Titans. And Taylor will probably continue to call plays for the Bengals.

This does demonstrate Taylor’s adaptability. He’s receptive to ideas, which is consistent with Lapham’s remarks made later in the interview.

Following the injury to Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence on Monday night, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was praised as a class act.

Lawrence looked to have suffered a serious ankle injury at the hands of his own teammate when Walker Little stepped back into him during the Bengals game on Monday night.

Then, it seemed as though Lawrence’s own weight forced his ankle to twist even further, and Hendrickson landed on top of him, unintentionally worsening the damage.

Lawrence fell back to the ground, tossed his helmet to the ground, punched the turf, and stayed down for a while in agony.

Hendrickson was seen attempting to assist his opponent in getting back up on his feet as a distraught Lawrence fell back to the ground.
