Cincinnati Bengals coach reveal terrible news about a key player.

Zac Taylor, the head coach of the Bengals, thought about giving Brian Callahan the play call.
Since taking over as head coach of the Bengals in 2019, Taylor has led the team in offensive play calling.

Dan Pitcher, the Bengals’ new offensive coordinator, was formally presented on Thursday. Brian Callahan, who has been in Cincinnati for the last five years, is replaced by the 37-year-old.

Pitcher was promoted since earlier this week Callahan took over as head coach of the Titans.

Dave Lapham reports that although Bengals head coach Zach Taylor thought about switching things up before Callahan was hired, he decided against it. Taylor is slated to call plays again in 2024.

On 700 WLW, Lapham said to Lance McAlister, “I heard that Zac Taylor was considering giving up the play calling role to Brian Callahan next season.””That changed when Brian Callahan moved on.”

Next season, Callahan will call plays for the Titans. And Taylor will probably continue to call plays for the Bengals.

This does demonstrate Taylor’s adaptability. He’s receptive to ideas, which is consistent with Lapham’s remarks made later in the interview.

It is carried out by democracy; a dictatorship does not exist. Everybody has a voice, and that voice is big,” said Lapham. “If you show that your voice merits it, you’re gonna get a bigger voice and that’s what happened with Dan Pitcher.”

4 Bengals free agents who could follow Brian Callahan if he leaves Cincinnati

Following their 9-8 season in 2023, Taylor and the Bengals are looking to bounce back. Their season was interrupted by injuries to Joe Burrow and other key players, but they seem willing to make adjustments to maximize their offensive.

Following the injury to Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence on Monday night, Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson was praised as a class act.

Lawrence looked to have suffered a serious ankle injury at the hands of his own teammate when Walker Little stepped back into him during the Bengals game on Monday night.

Then, it seemed as though Lawrence’s own weight forced his ankle to twist even further, and Hendrickson landed on top of him, unintentionally worsening the damage.

Lawrence fell back to the ground, tossed his helmet to the ground, punched the turf, and stayed down for a while in agony.

Hendrickson was seen attempting to assist his opponent in getting back up on his feet as a distraught Lawrence fell back to the ground.

Bengals tales show the NFL’s human side while the Bills There are “signs of improvement” in Damar Hamlin.

After Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest emergency, Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor stated it was obvious they couldn’t continue Monday night’s game against the Bills. Taylor then walked the field to talk with Buffalo coach Sean McDermott.
