Orlando Brown, a Pro Bowl lineman for the Cincinnati Bengals, leaves the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a report.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that Kansas City lineman Orlando Brown is close to signing with the Cincinnati Bengals.The former Oklahoma Sooners star will reportedly earn $64 million over four years, including the highest signing bonus ever for an offensive lineman in NFL history—a $31 million bonus.

The Bengals would have pulled off a huge coup by doing this, as it would strengthen their own offensive line, safeguard franchise quarterback Joe Burrow, and lessen one of the team’s primary rivals in the AFC. The Chiefs and Bengals have played each other in the last two AFC Championship Games, with the two games ending in draws.

Brown missed a portion of the 2022 offseason when he was in the middle of negotiating a contract with the Chiefs. He played last season with a franchise tag.
