“Having the opportunity to compete against the best, be trained by the best, and receive a world-class education is something I’m grateful for every day,” Warren stated in his statement.
He wrote, “Looking back on the last four years, I’m grateful for the experiences and knowledge gained working with my coaches and colleagues. I’m thrilled to be able to compete for a team I love and respect in the Peach Bowl in a few short days.
As a family, we’ve accomplished a lot, but I think the best is still to come.
It appears that Penn State will have almost a full squad for the Peach Bowl, which is set for December 30 in Atlanta against Ole Miss.
The only participant to opt out of the game thus far is Chop Robinson, a defensive end and likely first-round pick.
Olu Fashanu, a left tackle who is also expected to be selected in the first round, declared for the NFL Draft earlier on Friday. He stated he would be with the squad but did not clarify if he will be playing in the Peach Bowl.
Top pass catcher at Penn State is expected back in 2024.
Happy Valley will welcome back one of Penn State football’s top receiving targets in 2023. Tyler Warren, a tight end with the Pittsburgh Lions, declared on Friday that he plans to postpone the NFL Draft for one more season. Warren had a fantastic fall season for Penn State, and they will have one more opportunity to shine in the Peach Bowl the next week. Given that fellow TE Theo Johnson declared for the draft, the selection will significantly improve the pass offense of the Nittany Lions in 2024.
TE at Penn StateWhen questioned last month about his upcoming NFL Draft choice, Tyler Warren gave a vague response. The pass catcher for the Nittany Lions has now announced his decision. Warren formally declared his intention to return to Penn State for the 2024 season in a social media statement on Friday. A week before the Nittany Lions take on Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl on December 30, Warren makes his statement.
“I’m thankful for the chance to train with the best, compete against the best, and receive a world-class education every day,” Warren posted on social media. “Looking back on the last four years, I’m grateful for the experiences and knowledge gained working with my coaches and colleagues. I’m thrilled to be playing for a club I love and respect in the Peach Bowl in a few short days. As a family, we’ve accomplished a lot, but I think the best is still to come. I’ve made the decision to return to Penn State for the 2024 season after giving it careful thought. Indeed, We Are!
