So sad: Cincinnati Bengals lost their favorite player…

Chris Henry of the Cincinnati Bengals Dies at the Age of 26

Today, the NFL lost a close friend. Chris Henry, a 26-year-old Cincinnati Bengals player, departed from this life today. It’s being reported that Henry got into a domestic fight with his pickup truck owner and was thrown from the back.

With his arm broken in Week Nine against the Baltimore Ravens, Henry was in Charlotte, North Carolina, finalizing the details of his wedding. March was Henry’s wedding month.

Henry was really young, which is what makes his death so terrible. Even at the age of 26, he appeared to have a bright future in the NFL. He was just beginning to turn his life around after a very rough start.

Henry was a wide receiver for the West Virginia Mountaineers and had an outstanding collegiate career. With 22, he has the second-highest number of touchdown receptions in school history.

The 2005 NFL Draft saw the selection of him in the third round by the Bengals. He finished with six and nine touchdowns in his first two years of play, respectively.
