Good news for Harlequins: He is back..

Exciting outside back Nick Davis is signed by Harlequins.

Nick David, a promising outside back, will be joining the Harlequins prior to the 2021–2022 season.

Having played just twelve games this season, the 22-year-old, who made his debut with Worcester, is presently second in the Premiership for clean breaks (22), fifth for meters made (732) and eighth for defenders beaten.

The Redditch-born outside back made his Premiership debut in the 2019–20 season, scoring a try against Bath Rugby. He progressed through the ranks, competing in the Premiership Cup, A–League, and Sevens leagues, before making appearances for Worcester in the Gallagher Premiership and European Challenge Cup.

David expressed his excitement about starting the next phase of his career, saying, “I’m really excited to have signed with Harlequins.” I’m excited to don the Famous Quarters and join a group with a distinguished past.

Attack and backs coach Nick Evans of Harlequins commented, saying: “It’s fantastic to have Nick signing on to join our journey as a Club.” His instinctive attacking rugby has captured the attention of Premiership supporters this season, and we think it will fit well with our style of play.

“This man has a bright future ahead of him in terms of his career. We’re thrilled that he will be joining a backline full of gifted outside backs at Harlequins and progressing in his rugby career.

Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons, who knows David from the Three Pears Warriors Academy, expressed his regret at his departure, saying, “We completely recognize the opportunity which he has at Harlequins to play in his favorito

David, 22, made an impression while playing for Warwick School and joined the Senior Academy at Sixways prior to the 2017–18 season.

In November 2018, he made his Premiership Rugby Cup debut as a senior against Saracens. In February 2020, he made his Gallagher Premiership debut at Sixways with a try against Bath Rugby.

He added another try the following week against the Bristol Bears, bringing his total number of appearances scored in tries scored to 28. Most of his tries have come on the wing.

David suffered a shoulder injury last month at The Rec against Bath, which is keeping him out of action for the time being.
