Sad news for Tennessee Titans: He will never play again..

Report: O.J. Murdock of the Tennessee Titans Dies in Seeming Suicide

O.J. Murdock, a former wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans, passed away in Tampa, Florida, from a gunshot wound he apparently inflicted on himself.

Tragic news was broken by Jim Wyatt, beat writer for the Titans:

According to USA Today, Murdock was a previous standout student at Middleton High School, where his body was discovered in his vehicle. After being taken to the hospital quickly, Murdock’s health deteriorated, and he died late this morning.

Murdock completed his education at Middleton High School in 2006. In his junior and senior years, he totaled 1,762 yards and 18 touchdowns on 90 receptions. He was a student at South Carolina University. After four games, he was kicked off the squad for grand theft.Murdock transferred to Division-II Fort Hays State following his dismissal.

The 25-year-old was signed by the Titans in 2011 as an undrafted free agent, but he was placed on injured reserve with an Achilles injury, so he never got to play for Tennessee. Murdock had fully recovered from the injury, but he had not reported to Titans training camp the previous week.

With relation to this very tragic news, no additional details have been made public.

I apologize if you’ve heard this before, but the Tennessee Titans’ humiliating 27-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns was caused by poor offensive playcalling and an EDGE that completely dominated the team’s left tackle.

A small number of players did well today, but much like in 2022, it won’t matter whether most players do well when there are such glaring issues being displayed.

Cleveland Browns EDGE, who could win DPOY following this contest Despite only having 3.5 sacks for the day, Myles Garrett’s performance seemed more like 305 given how frequently he pressed Ryan Tannehill and the lack of solutions the Tennessee Titans offense had for him.

The offense pursued Garrett at a period in the fourth quarter when the Titans were so afraid of him that Mike Vrabel had to finally take a timeout. However, Garrett was sacking the quarterback on the very next play.

The Tennessee Titans were unable to take advantage of any of the positive plays that Ryan Tannehill made to DeAndre Hopkins, and Treylon Burks would have had another big play down the field if it weren’t for a DPI.

Not all of the Tennessee Titans’ issues stemmed from Andre Dillard.

It wasn’t all on Andre Dillard, to be fair. Tim Kelly discovered methods to harm the Titans personally. In addition to calling far too many plays out of empty, he also called three pitch plays for Derrick Henry that resulted in yards lost. This play is horrible not because it failed, but rather because it has never succeeded and produced one of Derrick Henry’s worst days ever.

Devastating penalties emerged as another part of the Tennessee Titans of 2022. The Titans were the NFL’s fourth-most penalized team in 2022, and as of today, they have racked up 75 yards in penalties.

While Week 2 provided a welcome respite from the troubles that had dogged the team since the eight-game losing streak began in November of last season, Week 3 served as a sobering reminder that there are still serious concerns with this squad, including coaching.
