Sad news for Los Angeles Clippers: I want to leave..

Tyronn Lue, the coach, accepts accountability for the Clippers’ collapse against the Lakers.

Tyronn Lue cautiously exited the silent Clippers locker room, turned right into the media room, and then turned left again into the quiet corridor of Crypto.com Arena to respond to inquiries regarding how his team blew a 21-point lead over the Lakers in the fourth quarter.

Lue collapsed into his chair, shook his head, and finally declared that he was accepting “responsibility” for a defeat that came as a surprise to everyone when his team was dominating and taking a 98-77 lead.

like the team’s coach, Lue claimed responsibility for ensuring the Clippers maintain their current form and do not falter like they did in Wednesday night’s 116–112 loss to the Lakers.

“I accept full responsibility for that because we didn’t get organized and we didn’t do the things we were supposed to do,” Lue stated. “Just making sure we know what to do and are organized.” And as I already mentioned, LeBron [James] burst out.

In the fourth quarter, James scored 19 of his 34 points. In the last 12 minutes, he shot 7 for 12 from the field and 5 for 8 from three-point range.

However, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden noted that the Clippers were awful in the fourth quarter in a lot of ways, and that wasn’t only Lue’s fault.

Due to their poor performance in the fourth quarter, when they had the game in hand and were playing without starters Paul George (sore left knee) and Ivica Zubac (illness), they both laid the burden on themselves and their teammates.

“Tonight, it was essentially our fault,” Leonard, who finished with 26 points, stated. “We controlled the game for the better part of the first three quarters, but in the second half we got pretty stagnant and gave up a few turnovers, which they took advantage of.”

The fourth quarter saw a 39-16 result over the Clippers. The Lakers scored eighteen points as a result of their seven turnovers, giving them 33 fast-break points for the contest.

Harden, who finished with 23 points and nine assists, added, “It’s on all of us.” Do you understand that we are all in this together? It irritates me. Particularly at this time of year, you cannot give up a victory while leading [21] points at home. That’s how easy it is.

It was the Clippers’ home game and the last meeting between the rivals from the venue during the regular season.

The Clippers did not want to end their season against the Lakers in this manner, but they will play in their own venue, the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, next season.

Indeed. But I accept responsibility,” Lue remarked. “You can’t lose a game like that when you’re the team leader and up 21 points. Therefore, we had to improve. But we achieved some worthwhile goals. However, it’s not like us to lose by merely 21 points in the fourth quarter. Therefore, we need to improve in that area.

“I don’t think I’ve ever lost a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter in my career as a coach, but LeBron got hot.”

The Clippers are 1-3 following the All-Star break because they have lost their spark.

Teams ranked higher than 500 have faced all three of the losses.
