THE BIG ONE:Will Kentucky seek Gonzaga’s Mark Few for the coaching vacancy?

There’s a ‘very real possibility’ the Wildcats show interest in Few to replace John Calipari, according to Dan Dickau

The college basketball coaching carousel has been very active the past month – and now the Gonzaga Bulldogs could be involved.

After Hall-of-Fame head coach John Calipari left Kentucky for SEC rival Arkansas on Sunday night, several big names have surfaced as potential replacements for Calipari. Gonzaga coach Mark Few is on the list. One of the most respected minds in the game and the winningest head coach in Division I history by percentage, Few will likely get a phone call from Kentucky AD Mitch Barnhart.

“There’s a very, very real possibility that [Kentucky] makes a phone call,” said Dan Dickau on Gonzaga Nation. “If you’re the Kentucky AD and you’re sitting there looking at the landscape of college basketball, you have to at least give a phone call to Mark Few.”

Dickau discussed why it makes sense for Kentucky to show interest in Few, and much more, on a new Gonzaga Nation episode.
