SAD NEWS AS THE STRONGEST MAN ON EARTH EDDIE HALL LOST HIS…..HEALTH

Brian Shaw, a four-time World’s Strongest Man winner, recently opened up about a medical crisis that almost ended his career. Shaw had to halt his preparations for his last tournament before retiring after being admitted to the hospital in January due to a leg infection. On his YouTube channel, Shawstrength, he candidly recounted the hidden facts of his days of preparation leading up to the tournament.

In 2020, I was a little bit down.I felt a little worthless, stuck on the couch with a newborn, and my wife taking care of everything. “I got depressed and ballooned up to 170kg (26st 10lbs).”
The charming and amiable giant from Swindon had an Achilles tendon tear at the 2019 World’s Strongest Man competition a year prior.

It was meant to be his last entry, after making it through to the finals five times in his career, but that was not how it was supposed to end.

Fast-forward to 2023, and not only has he lost around 45kg (100lbs), started eating more healthily and become a successful YouTuber, but he coached 27-year-old Mitchell Hooper to win the World’s Strongest Man title in 2023.

“Big Loz,” as he is frequently referred to, said to BBC West about his experience, saying, “It was pretty bad—and I’ve looked back at pictures and I don’t remember looking like that.”Despite my smile, I was actually rather depressed about my physical and emotional well-being and found it difficult to even walk small distances.”
“Being a professional athlete makes you see yourself in a certain manner, so it was difficult.
