The Ravens will face the Chiefs in the NFL’s season-opening game

The NFL season will begin with a rematch of the AFC championship game.

The Kansas City Chiefs will host the Baltimore Ravens on Sept. 5 in Kansas City, Mo., in the opening game of the 2024 season, the league announced Monday.

The Chiefs, as the defending Super Bowl champions, will host the season-opening game on a Thursday night. The opener is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. Eastern time and will be broadcast by NBC.
