Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs Secure A Deal Of A New QB

Bulldogs Secure Second NRLW Signing with Ashleigh Quinlan..

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs proudly announce the signing of Ashleigh Quinlan, a pivotal addition to our roster ahead of the Club’s inaugural NRLW season in 2025.

Quinlan, a Kiwi International, has committed to a two-year deal with the Bulldogs joining Tayla Preston as a key recruit for our maiden NRLW campaign.

The 29-year-old first developed her playmaking skills as a touch football player, winning a Touch World Cup with Australia and several Trans-Tasman titles, before making the transition to Rugby League.

She began her NRLW journey with the Paramatta Eels where she helped guide her team to the NRLW Grand Final before subsequently joining the Canberra Raiders for their inaugural NRLW season.

As a dynamic five-eighth, Ash has demonstrated her spark in the NRLW having produced eight try assists and scored two tries across 15 appearances to date. Hailing from Turungi, the talented playmaker has also proudly represented the New Zealand Maori Ferns at the 2023 and 2024 NRL All Stars events.

Bulldogs NRLW Head Coach Blake Cavallaro said he was greatly looking forward to the combination that Preston and Quinlan would create next year:

“Ash is a bit of a journeywoman who knows what it takes to gel with a new team. She has done this successfully across two NRLW clubs and at an international level.
